We are a friendly and approachable team, we have different interests and hobbies but we share a passion for Maths and take great joy in sharing that passion with anyone that will listen. I give you The Maths Department....
Head of Maths Faculty with years of experience teaching Maths along with other subjects at HCC. - "I love my football and cricket, I like to play but I a better at watching! I'm originally from Salford and a Life long Man City Fan"
Mrs Uglow is our Lead Practitioner with heaps of experience and a passion for learning.- "In my spare time I enjoy cooking (especially baking) as well as running, I have completed a couple of half marathons however, my next goal is to run a marathon……"
Mr Bulut has been teaching Maths at HCC having trained through the schools direct program a keen teacher and Rugby player for the All Backs (Lanson not NZ) - "I love skiing, outdoor walks/hiking and competitive sports (rugby and football). In my spare time I really enjoy cooking, I like to take a recipe and modify it somehow by adding more flavours or spices."
Miss Bate has taught Maths at HCC for many years, her social care background and a passion for Maths making a great combination for teaching - "I have 3 young children who I spend most of my time with. As a family we do lots of long walks, and are planning to climb the 3 highest peaks in the United Kingdom. After that I plan to test out and find the best spa in the West Country! "
Mrs Moyse has heaps of experience teaching in Devon as well as Glorious Manchester which makes her a great teacher of Maths - "I like running, with the intention to run the Bideford 10km to raise money for pancreatic cancer. Also, I'm captain of our village skittles team. My aim is not to finish with the wooden spoon - again! LOL"
Mrs Bray is our Maths Specialist TA, she has taken on responsibility for some of the intervention in KS3 and is a much valued member of the Maths Team
